It has been a bit quiet in here and I've been meaning to post the new jewellery we got in. I have been so busy with my other business over Christmas that I simply haven't had a chance to sort SSC out. But in the coming week you will be presented with a new piece of jewellery every day I promise!

Hello there!
This will be my first journal entry as SugarSkullCandy!
It feels great to have joined DA and we're looking forward to building a following here.
I've been a member of DA since I can remember when. But to SSC this is all new.
My name is Emelie and I come from a long history of tattooing and designing. I started designing tattoos when I was very young and decided that I wanted to become a tattooist when I was about 14 years of age. I followed that path for a long long time and did become a tattooist one day. Although I was happy at first I slowly started climbing down that depression ladder that I'm sure many of you know of. It was heartbreaking to see my dream crushing before my eyes but it made me depressed and my love for art was slowly dying. I decided that tattooing wasn't for me and moved on to other things.
I have stayed away from tattoos, tattoo designs and well everything that has to do with tattoos for many years now as it sort of opened up that scar every time I thought of it. But I think that that scar has finally healed. Anyway, I decided to give designing a go again but use it in a different matter. The designs I did came out great and it almost seemed as I'd grown as a tattoo designer even though I hadn't done it for such a long time. I run another business where I design jewellery and furry ipod and iphone accessories
and lately it has been very successful, so I thought to myself, why not try to open another business. A tattoo inspired jewellery and accessory business! And this was when Sugar Skulle Candy was born!
And here we are, waiting for our first batch of jewellery to arrive so that we can start selling! We've got a long road ahead of us but hope to be successful in the end of it and we hope that many of you guys will follow us on our journey!
So yeah welcome to the world SSC!!!
